I had a project that my son was doing for school and he's in the fourth grade. It consisted of a metal steel type structure that represented a pyramid I stopped by swan Island sheet metal works to see if I could buy some steel for the project. The guys were not busy at all and they went out of their way to go find me a sheet of metal that was buried behind a lot of stuff and they done a lot of work done bury it. When they brought it up to me I asked him how much it would be and they said nothing it's free. These guys were the nicest businessman I've ever met just coming in off the street as I did that day I hang drywall for a living but I went in there looking pretty dirty cuz I've been working all day and they didn't judge me or anything. Ordered some random size metal prices for my RV and these guys came thru. Pricing seemed to be fair and quick to get it done. Google says they are open 24 hours, and they may have people working, but they aren't open on Sat or Sun for pickup and open at 5a during the week.
