I had an outstanding experience with Mike from Syd’s Plumbing & Repairs, and I want to highlight the level of professionalism and care he brought to a tricky situation at my home. Mike responded quickly to a service call on February 4th after we discovered a frozen and broken pipe on the house side. He took the time to thoroughly inspect the issue and clearly explained what was happening and why the repair needed to wait until the pipe thawed to avoid further damage. That level of caution and honesty is something you don’t always get with home services. Once the pipe thawed, Mike got right to work. He replaced the shut‑off valves inside the bathroom with new straight stops, installed flexible supply lines into the wall, and isolated the cold section of the bathroom from the rest of the p

Syd explained my options clearly and gave me a "Plan A" and "Plan B," ultimately able to complete the work with the less expensive option. I have nothing but good things to say about the experience!

I had a great experience with Syd and his team. My main water line was leaking. Syd came by the same day and provided options and estimates. His team showed up Saturday morning on time. They don't have uniforms like some companies, but they were dressed to work. And they are hard workers and work well together. They did a lot of digging by hand to find the leak, quickly repaired it, filled in the hole and cleaned up. Both my neighbors and myself were very impressed with their quick work. I would highly recommend them for future work.

Syd got the job done fast. He handled his repair work quickly, which included digging out damaged pipe under the front yard and replacing. Plus the county water company was going to take 2+ days to fix an issue with the sewer pipe they broke in pieces when replacing the water main under the street. Syd was able to prove to the water company that the issue was caused by them. So what would have been over a 10K bill was done at no charge. Plus Syd was able to get the water company on site the same day by working with them to expedite the water company crew’s arrival to get them on site same day vs. more than a two day wait. Something I could not have done. Excellent at taking some of the stress off your shoulders, excellent work and great customer service!
