Just wanted to say how great Taft plumbing has been for me. I purchased a bare lot with no utilities. I contacted Taft for some bids. The owner Clayton met me at my lot, he answered all my questions and gave good advice for moving forward with installing utilities. They installed a septic system and water on my lot and did all the excavation work for that and the electrical. Bob and JP did all the work and were very professional, polite and did quality work. I appreciate that. Bob did a great job on the excavator and had my lot looking really nice once they finished installing everything. Anna in billing has also been great. She answered questions I had about my bill and clarified everything with me. Taft is very easy to work with and has great employees and does quality work. I

Taft Plumbing did a solid job installing a new hot water heater at my property. The work itself seems to have been done correctly, and I appreciate that part of the service. However, I’m giving only two stars because of the billing experience. Neither I nor my property manager were told ahead of time that they don’t accept credit card payments over the phone. Since I live out of state, I had no way to pay immediately, which resulted in unexpected late fees that felt unfair under the circumstances. Clearer communication up front about payment methods and policies would have prevented a lot of frustration. Updating their payment system would benefit everyone.
Overall you have to hope they get it right the first time. Took them almost 5 months to "find the time" to fix something that they broke. Super frustrating, long wait times for service, questionable skills (how many times do you have to come out and try and solve the same problem? ) expensive charged for every visit. I know they're the only game in town but a little focus on customer satisfaction would be nice.
Wonderful people, good quality service, we'll use them again.
