Take It 4 Granite

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank Charlie for the awesome job he did on my Kitchen Countertop. He installed my first counter 20 years ago and his quality of work is off the charts. He listens to what you are looking for, makes great recommendations and it shows in the final product of what he delivers. Hard these days to find someone that is professional, caring and a great price on top of the quality of work.

Chuck has now helped us with 3 projects, installing quartz and leathered granite. Hi work is fantastic. He is very easy to deal with. He doesnt mess about with faff, he arrives with his crew and like a well oiled machine installs to perfection. He installed 4 slabs worth of granite in a high end kitchen renovation for us and it gets a wow from everyone who sees it.

Charlie said he would send me an estimate in a day or so. It's been over a week and no estimate. I called Charlie and he seemed like I was annoying him by asking if he could send the estimate for my kitchen. He was rude and very unprofessional. I feel he doesn't like doing mid to small jobs. Great way to run a business in this ridiculous economy, when people are willing to spend the money which equals staying in business. Call Phillipsburg Marble ask for Keith. Wish I had read these reviews before. Don’t waste your time going here, especially with a small job. Had a small job I ordered in mid December and was told it wouldn’t be a problem to finish by early January. Didn’t get a call it was done by 1/18/22 so been calling for 3 weeks, leaving messages with the answering service, they even gave me Charlie’s cell, and I tried emailing them through their website and not even one call back. If they don’t want to do small jobs they should just tell you that. I would have been fine going somewhere else to do the job, which now I realize I have to. I don’t have time to be mislead for months, and I’m sure you don’t either, so I strongly suggest moving on to a different place for your granite needs.

We went in with a sketch and measurement, we chose our granite in about 10 minutes. We received a quote in November and readily agreed. Despite asking for an install date for over 4 months we never received one. I prefer to support local businesses so tried to be patient but clearly they are not interested in doing our work. I wish Charlie had been honest about that up front instead of stringing us along. Its frustrating that we now have to start all over.
