Tanglewood Tree and Lawn LLC

I have never posted a negative review before but wanted to share my dissatisfaction in this case. I purchased a new home last year in Lakewood and selected Tanglewood for lawn and garden care as I wanted to support a local small business. The services were all just so-so, and what was most upsetting was the high pricing of the work for such poor quality. The last straw was the pre-winter trim and cleanup of a dozen or so small plants/shrubs on my .35 acre yard. They charged $1,020 for about two hours of work with two workers and an electric trimmer. After the work I reached out to inform them that there was still a lot of debris on my lawn and throughout the rock beds. Their response was "leaf clean-up was not included" and stated they would come out to clean the remaining debris for $

Update: the winds have come whipping through today, and while our gate broke, our trees haven’t been bothered in the least! I’ve seen so many trees down in the area, but never have to worry about ours! 3 years ago: My highest praise for a small business is that they have been reliable and excellent across multiple jobs. Meagan and the crew at Tanglewood have been an absolute pleasure to work with. They’ve helped us with trimming and removal and indispensable advice and knowledge. They have been flexible and kind and have gone above and beyond. They also come with the least amount of muss and fuss. I have barely noticed they’ve been through except that everything looks better!

I needed short term yard care for about two weeks due to selling my own lawn equipment prior to a move. After contacting approximately 15 different lawn care companies, Tanglewood was the ONLY one that got back to me in any sort of reasonable manner. They were able to fit me into their schedule despite lots of recent rain and the busy spring mowing season. They were on time, professional, communicative and completed the work as asked, including extra weed eating for some overgrown beds on the property. Highly recommended!

Have had this company out twice (though this second job took 3 days) for tree work and maintenance. I have been happy with them every time. They are very good with communication and were kind even when there was a mistake on communication on my end. They do good work with reasonable pricing. We have a lot of plants in my yard and they are very responsive to questions and always take my preferences into consideration. They will be my go to company for my yard work in the future as well.

We hired Tanglewood to clean up our yard and do some trimming of our pear tree. They were very prompt with scheduling time to get a quote and arrived on time the day of the service. We were very pleased with the work they did - the yard looks great and I cannot believe the difference in the tree! The quote they provided was very reasonable. We’ve hired other companies in the past, but we’ll be sticking with Tanglewood for our future yard needs. Thank you, Tanglewood!
