Tarrant County Calhoun Street Parking Garage

Didn't hate it, just didn't park there. Parked farther and walked.

There was plenty of parking on Thursday 4/10 in the late morning. It was $10 for all day. Compared to the bleak lots on Jones, where their QR app indicated $24-46 for the day, the Tarrant County garage was a deal. Upon leaving, the attendant was friendly, and paying cash was easy.

I arrived early enough so I could potentially get parking on the first floor as it was 15 degrees outside and I had a lot of items to carry into the courthouse. There was a lady standing on the first floor of the garage who told me I couldn't park on the first floor even though there was literally zero other cars there. I asked why, she told me to get moving and was incredibly rude. She never answered my question. Since I'm paying to park and the spot I was going to take on the first floor was not noted as reserved for anyone, she should have been able to give me answer or let me park. Fun times we're living in.

I had no problems a month ago when I first used this garage. This time my card was declined and the man at the gate was rude to me “ saying I’m not gonna let you out till you pay.” It was 4$, I told him ok and I just needed a minute to see what’s going on with my card. There was a lady behind me, me and her went through the trouble of backing out. I re-parked and before I could figure out what was going on. The guy taps on my window and says “ the lady behind you paid for you.” I said “ that was nice of her.” When I made it back to the gate I waited patiently for the guy to let me out. I realized he was trying to talk to me. instead of just letting me out, he waited till I rolled my window down. Than lectured me about parking there with no money.
