A few years ago I had water damage in my garage. The first company that came estimated about $4,000 to clean, and dry, (NO repair, just tear-down walls). Then Tech Clean came and did the work and collected the $5300 from USAA homeowner's insurance and charged me an additional $5600. They never actually sent me a bill and never called me to inform me that there was an additional charge. NY has a 4 month window that contractors can file a lien on a home for unpaid work so since the 4 months was almost here they filed the lien and I never knew about it until some nasty man from a Lien enforcing company called me threatening to take me to court. I called Tech Clean and tried to work out a lower payment for this unjust charge but "Arthur" (im pretty sure that's his name) would not even talk abo
