We needed to replace a runner on our main staircase. After going to another floor covering store that we had used in the past and getting a price that we thought was too high we were recommended to go to Ted’s. We were extremely happy. Basically any swatch of carpeting that you see can be made into a runner, the price varying accordingly. They were extremely patient loaning us multiple samples each time the price turned out to be much more reasonable. The people who did the work were extremely nice and extremely competent, and even made us some area rugs out of the leftover. I would definitely go back in the future.

We could not be happier with the carpet installation we recently had on our stairs and landing. Ted's flooring & interior designs was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and precise with everything from our time spent with them in the showroom to the installation in our home. Now it was time to remodel my bathroom and once again JoAnn’s designer talents captured my vision plus! We highly recommend Ted's Flooring. Michael came within a couple hours of our initial call to measure our home's second level for new carpeting. He guided us over numerous days of taking home in-store as well as ordered samples. We never felt rushed and appreciated the well curated and high quality of the store's offerings. The installation went smoothly and was a real pro job. Our new carpet makes us happy!

While the initial service was strong and I was seriously considering going with them, I asked, what I thought, was a simple question about whether the carpet I chose had a green certification or, if not, which ones they had did. What I received was a very snarky one sentence response saying that if there were any toxins in their carpets they would be dead by now. If that is the way they handle questions or concerns, I would be worried about what happens if there is an install issue. I decided to take my business to another local company that is a little more expensive, but who were totally transparent and knowledgeable about which carpets were green friendly and who were not offended by such a straightforward ask.
