Terminal 2 Garage

Parking for Terminal 2 lot was open and the attendant said there were spots. I drove around for 15 minutes and couldn’t find a spot. Upon leaving I told the attendant that there are no spots and still get charged $5 for driving around the lot for 15 minutes. This has happened 2-3 other times and no matter how ‘automated’ the process is the service still sucks. And the people are rude. I can’t believe after traveling for 25 years at this airport that Superpark is still in business. If we’re going to spend the money to redo the airport, this parking lot contract needs to go to someone else. Totally ridiculous.

They advertise the lot as open and continue to allow cars to enter despite the fact that there are no spots available - you may get lucky enough to catch a spot as another car is leaving but at some point you have to move on after driving around for nearly 20 minutes trying to park. To top it off they still charge you for parking even though you never actually parked and the lot attendant is extremely rude. But hey, they make double the money when you end up then having to park at Terminal 1, wait 30 minutes for a shuttle back over to Terminal 2 and almost miss picking up your family member flying in. Makes Flying Springfield or KCI a very viable option for those of us that don't live near St. Louis anyway.

Almost front row spot to take my son to the airport, get him checked in and on his flight without the hassle of getting a shuttle. It was about 330/4am for reference

As of January 22, 2025, fiasco of terminal two garage parking is such a BS. Can drive-by see half of the garage open parking space is available but they told that is full. When approaching the "security guard" about being allowed to park so you can pick up your teenage child They're told no because a lot is full. When you point out all the open spaces that can be seen, you're told well it's considered full because of the construction workers. Where the construction is being done where the open parking spots are at two totally different areas. Then told to park at terminal one and take a shuttle back to terminal 2. Since there are no flights at night at terminal two why not do the construction then. Major major ball drop on this airport planning.

1 car didn't have their ticket at the exit gate, and they wouldn't let them just pay and leave without it. No car was allowed to leave the lot because this 1 car didn't have their ticket. There were at least 50 cars piled up at 1:30AM and they wouldn't let us leave until multiple people called the police and they made them open the gate. All of this for a $5 gate ticket.
