Texas Waterboys Sprinkler Repair and French Drains - Carrollton

The technician who serviced our work was timely, professional and very thorough. The receptionist was courteous and responsive. However the office personnel were less than forthright. We reported the original 4/10hp sump pump installed by Waterboys was not working and needed to replaced with the same or equivalent. We even supplied the name of the manufacturer(Liberty) It was communicated,understood and agreed that Waterboys didn’t repair units, they only replaced. We were quoted $956 for the replacement pump. When the technician arrived, he brought a Liberty 3/10 hp unit which has lesser capacity but we were assured it would work. When installed and tested, it lacked the capacity to function. He called the office and communicated the need to upgrade to the original installed 4/10hp. He

I used this company 20 plus years ago, and while it’s grown, the service has not changed! Cooper went out of her way to see how she could squeeze us in knowing we had already trouble shooter and couldn’t stop the link. The technicians came over as quickly as they could as their day was ending and were more than fair on pricing! Highly recommend them!!!

Cristian and his team did an amazing job. They were priced competitively with the foundation companies, but the difference was that he listened to my problem and worked with me to create a solution. Water had been coming into my house since last year due to pour irrigation, and a slopping property. Cristian planned for a French drain as well as a sump pump to ensure that the water would move from the house and to the street. The team worked tirelessly for 4 days on what was originally supposed to be a 2 day project, completing the project before the rain this week. Last night we had what looks to be 1.5 inches of rain over about a 1 hour period and no puddling or issues anymore. the system is working as designed and extremely effectively! Texas Waterboys has been phenomenal in terms of both the work done AND the customer service experience. I can’t overstate what a great experience we’ve had with them for the past 3 or so years!

Buyer Beware … Waterboys sells only Hunter products, which are pricier and less user friendly than other brands such as Rainbird. If a new sprinkler head needs to be adjusted for “pressure and/or direction, technicians do not have “keys” to make adjustments for any brand other than Hunter. The sprinkler head will be replaced with a Hunter brand. This is fairly expensive. If you ask about a warranty for a new controller, you may be told that there is a 2 year warranty. It will not appear in writing on the invoice, the controller, the manual or any other paperwork. When I called the company. I was told to look “on the back” of the controller. At the top of the inner panel, there is a sticker with the manufacturer date, which was over a year prior to installation. Hunter’s website states it
