Since moving to Cookeville two years ago, one of the most valuable connections I’ve made has been with Quinton and his team at The Building Center. From day one, they’ve gone above and beyond, not just in service, but in genuine care and education. As I’ve worked to remodel my home, their willingness to spend time explaining products, offering advice, and helping me make informed decisions has been invaluable. I’ve learned so much from them, and I’m truly grateful for the guidance they’ve provided through some challenging projects. What really sets The Building Center apart is their community spirit. Recently, they hosted a customer appreciation event with a full barbecue...a perfect example of how much they value their customers. Their support of the local community doesn’t go unnoticed.

I came to have small pieces of untreated lumber cut for a little home project. I had first gone to Lowes. After too long a time trying to get the attention of a staff member, I learned that their cutting machine was broken and there was no estimate about when it would be repaired. That's why I went to The Building Center. There I was immediatedy approached by a staff member and asked about my needs. My request was immediately satisfied. I'm now a loyal customer!

I was looking for a very specific product and had been told "no" at several places. Quinton, after hearing my request, said, "I'm not sure that I know of a product like that, but let me make some phone calls and see what I can find that might work for you." He found me a product very close and with a good price point to solve my wants and needs. He took the liberty of getting samples before I even asked. He helped me with all of the overages and getting the correct amount of material. I am very pleased with the customer service I received here!
