When picking a place to do a custom built in (for a 85 inch TV) around the Tri-Cities and even online I couldn’t find much but I am so glad I went with The Cabinet Shop NW! They did a fantastic job. Jim is very knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend them for your next home project!

Shopped the big box stores and found them to be adequate but not very knowledgeable about the details of planning. Their price was close to The Cabinet Shop if you found them on a good sale. Jim & his son Nick at The Cabinet Shop are cabinet makers in a former life and understand cabinets, installations and provide honest answers to questions based on a lot of experience. Their pricing was slightly better/competitive than the best sale price at the box stores. This means no rush on making decisions to meet a sale deadline. On top of that, these gents know and understand the intricacies of cabinets and will help you down the path to making the best decisions for your needs and wants. We love our dining room cabinets! Jim was so patient and helpful with the design process, knowledgeable with advice for our partial DIY process, and the cabinets themselves are high quality. Jim at The Cabinet Shop NW is honest, dependable, and great to work with. Helped me through design, purchasing, and installation of these beautiful cabinets. His team did an excellent job communicating and taking care of every last detail. They made sure everything was perfect before they were done, working with me on all of my special requests. We began working with Jim last fall on a kitchen remodel project and finalized our plans in January with the project beginning in mid February. As of this writing (mid April) the project is 99.9% completed. Jim made a schedule and for the most part the subs were able to stay on it. To say we are happy with the remodel and the process is an understatement. Jim was responsive to any of our concerns along the way and the general contractor costs have been more than reasonable. We love our cabinets!
