I'm convinced the bad reviews of this company are from people that don't really understand how their cedar roof works. The beauty of many cedar roofs (especially skip sheathed roofs like mine) is that they almost never actually need to be completely replaced. They can almost always be reconditioned or repaired. That's why I loveThe Cedar Roof Company. Ben comes out and fixes your roof in about hour. You can't beat that. However, I'm seriously concerned that the company has ceased operations. I haven't seen a closed notice, but the voicemail is full, the website is down, and messages haven't been returned. I don't think I'm going to be able to replace this company with the same type of service and I'm devastated. Guys. If you're out there and reading this. Please call me!

The Cedar Roof Comapny had replaced the roof on a house we were looking to buy years before, but when we went to purchase this house, our inspector told us that the roof was "shot" and needed replacement. Cedar Roof spoke to the owners and assured them that the roof was fine. We paid to have to very well known cedar roof experts from two different companies with over 50 yrs experience in this business, and both agreed that the roof was badly in need of replacement. We were given an estimate for replacement at over $100,000. Because the owner didn't want to incur the expense, they said they believed the Cedar Roof co. and would not budge. Beyond disappointed with this company, and would highly recommend NOT using them! Before purchasing our home, we paid Cedar Roof Company to come out and pre-inspect the roof since it's such a large expense to replace and we wanted to know what condition it was in before deciding on purchasing the house. We received a very professional letter reporting they inspected it and certified it was in overall good shape with 8-10 years life left. Solely because of this report stating the roof was in good condition, we purchased this house! Less than 2 months of owning the house, we began to have water leaking in.
