The Cleaning Authority - Augusta

I do not recommend this company. I feel taken advantage of and misled. I hired them for a one-time clean of my 1,600 sqft unfurnished, pet-free townhome to prepare it for a tenant. During the initial walkthrough, Kathy Voss told me it would cost about $240–$300 for two cleaners working 2–2.5 hours. Instead, I was billed $477 for three cleaners, and because I never received a written quote, it became my word against hers. In addition to the unexpected cost, I had several issues with the service: 1. The crew turned my AC way down without permission, running up my electricity. 2. The kitchen cabinet faces weren’t cleaned at all—I had to do that myself. 3. One of my kitchen chandelier bulbs was broken. I raised these concerns with both Kathy and Pam, but nothing was done to address them.

I got a mailer ad for the cleaning authority and I’m so glad I reached out to them. Within a few days I got the estimate and my first clean. They do a wonderful job. I also LOVE that they have an app. It makes the process seamless and much easier.

My cleaning team did an awesome job cleaning my house today! Their focus today was my sleeping areas. They hand wiped all surfaces including base boards. They dusted my ceiling fan and did a clean sweep of all the walls to scoop up any annoying spider webs. I'm very satisfied with their professionalism and how thorough they are when cleaning my house. It's a great feeling to live in a clean house especially without doing all the hard work!

Easy to schedule. The ladies showed up on time, did a fabulous job, and they were pleasant and professional!

I have been using The Cleaning Authority of Augusta for several months. Not only did the owner literally go the extra mile (miles!) to come outside of their local service area, but she is friendly and responsive if I need to contact her. The service we receive every two weeks is exceptional! I can’t say enough about how thorough and conscientious EVERYONE has been over the past few months. My life is so much easier with their help.
