The Concrete Guys

Nick never came back to apply the concrete protection. He never came back to repair the huge crack in our driveway. BBB gives him an F rating thanks to the job he refuses to finish. Nick Martinez will not return calls and work he performs is not to code, poor quality, and simply doesn’t hold up. I just wanted a concrete driveway and walkway. My front step is even cracked and two different colors. Do not use this man. He does not honor his warranty.

We asked Nick to do the impossible- give us a quote and get the job done in less than a week. I am so thrilled to report they got it done in 4 days from the time I contacted them! Not only did they get it done fast, but it was great quality at a very reasonable price, as well! Nick was fantastic to work with- kept in communication with my husband and I the entire time, and was very kind and professional through the entire job. We felt so great giving our business to these guys. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Do yourself a favor, don't waste time with other companies, just contact The Concrete Guys first.

I would not recommend Nick Martinez from The Concrete Guys to anyone. I will start with the unprofessionalism. Nick was unable to provide a receipt for any of our payments or the warrranty paperwork promised on his website. He did state he will honor the warranty and that the paperwork isn't necessary; however, I am not comfortable with that response since he is admittedly a thief. Rather than buy the stone that was needed and was included in the cost for the job he chose to steal it from a local farmer who happend to have stone sitting in his field for a tiling project. Nick admitted that he took the stone on July 15, 2020 and ended up replacing it July 19, 2020 in the evening. His company also littered our yard with cigarette butts and gatorade bottles. Nick and his crew did a great job! Being in construction myself, it was obvious from the beginning these guys work with concrete on a daily basis and do it pretty well. We are very happy with the professionalism and finished product. Other than a stray dog wandering into their work area, which they handled well, this project was picture perfect. We recommend Nick and his crew to any family or friend looking for concrete work.

Here’s the deal, Chris and his crew did an excellent job with laying the concrete patio, we are very pleased with it, however they didn’t backfill around our patio like they said they would after removing the frames and stakes/post around the patio and we have yet to receive our contract like they said they would give us, even after contacting Nick the owner,who said we would receive our contract. We have contacted them but no one has responded to our correspondences. I really wanted to give them 5 stars but they really dropped the ball everywhere else.
