Installing a new dock can be a big project. In our case, it took almost a year of permitting -- and permits from many government agencies -- before we were even ready for the installation. And when it comes to construction, it's a project you want done right the first time. We considered a couple different alternatives, but ended up choosing The Dock Company for our dock because (a) they have more experience than anyone else in North Central Washington, (b) they are well-known both to the engineers and government agencies, (c) we really liked how the team was willing to work with us to save money where it made sense (e.g., reusing an existing concrete abutment) and invest where it made sense (e.g., selecting a few upgraded materials for better service life). They have served us well in the manufacturing and installation of our new multi slip dock on Lake Chelan. They know this lake well and what kind of fabrication is needed to last a long time. The Dock Company team installed a lift and cover for us last year. After sitting all winter we couldn't get the lift to lower. This was 3 days before we had a full house for the 4th.
