The Drawing Room

Susan was amazing! I came to The Drawing Room with my 5 friends on my bachelorette trip. I sent her an inspo painting pic of bows and flowers from Pinterest and she created a painting we all loved. We had a blast painting in her studio and she even had a charcuterie board for us! I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Susan was an absolutely amazing host for our party! She did great with checking in with me through all my needs for my daughter’s party and walked me through the whole process for renting out the venue. The price to rent the whole venue out was so affordable. It was such a fast and easy process. She did so good with the children with their art session and the upstairs party room is too cute! I recommend this for any parents that want to throw an art party for their little ones!

Had the most wonderful experience today with my daughter and her friend! They absolutely loved being able to spend time painting in a place with so many paints, brushes, sponges, canvases…everything they needed was provided, even aprons! And they learned some new and cool brush techniques and painting ideas. They were supported and encouraged with such positivity by the owner. We are already planning our next visit!!

From the initial planning, to the painting party itself, Sue was so great. She met and exceeded my expectations. My three daughters and I had a vacation in the area, and this was a true highlight for us on our trip. Sue is engaging and so helpful. My girls said their favorite part was us having a painting class with Sue. Thank you again Sue for all your guidance and help and entertainment. Can’t wait to come back for another visit!

Can’t say enough about this spectacular drawing and art room in Banner Elk!! The owner is the kindest woman ever. We called one rainy afternoon and she dropped everything to put on a painting class for my boys and nephew. They LOVED it. She was patient, funny and the kids had a blast. They enjoyed it so much that they begged to go back again and wound up dropping them off for camp one day - where they made awesome canvas paintings and art projects. If you’re in the area definitely stop by and enjoy some art time..you won’t regret it!! Good for all ages young to grown ups :)
