The Foam Guy and Son

We called these guys after next day metal buildings out of Corinth NY screwed us over with insulation for a workable shop. We paid for and wanted the “upgraded” prodex insulation but they installed bubble wrap with no insulation value whatsoever instead, even though we got charged for the upgrade. We reached out to nick and his team to make the unusable shop hold heat. Nick absolutely knows his product from top to bottom and runs a tight ship. He was empathetic with the predicament the metal building company left us in, and even though he had no connection with that horrible buisness, he worked to correct the situation for us. The Foam Guy & Son is not the cheapest but as usual you get what you pay for. Planned to get the closed cell foam in the spring before adding a heat system to our new 30x40 garage but plans changed and I got the heat pump before the end of the year to get a large rebate ($2600) before they disappeared. I had to have the spray foam applied in a freezing cold building in late December so I did some research and went with a large crew that used two applicators AND had a way to not only heat up the building but also the barrels of product. The pump(s) heat it as well to keep it flowing because it sets up relatively fast when it cools and it was 10* outside. It also helped getting the large job done in one day so all the stuff moved out could be placed inside during one of our cold/stormy stret

Nick met with me and clearly explained the job details, including the benefits of insulating my attic with spray foam. They removed all of the existing fiberglass insulation, cleaned and prepped, and applied the product to the attic. After the foam dried they re-inspected their work and detailed areas they felt needed attention. Two days later I noticed the difference the spray foam insulation made to my home - Now my thermostat does not click on and off as frequently as it did before. Which I believe is a clear sign that my home is much better insulated than before. Great investment!

Outstanding experience from start to finish. I called The Foam Guy and Son early Friday morning after New Year’s and Nick (the owner) returned my call within 30 minutes. From that first conversation, I knew I was in good hands. Joe came out the very next day, was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and understood how tight my timeline was. Nick then personally called and fit me in that Monday. The crew showed up as promised, did flawless work, and left the site cleaner than they found it. Tom, the foreman, wouldn’t wrap up until he knew I was 100% satisfied. Old-fashioned customer service, great communication, and excellent workmanship. The Spray Foam Guy & Son recently sprayed my basement walls with closed cell insulation and they were clean, punctual, professional, and very accommodating to my needs and concerns. They did a great job and met all my needs. Highly recommend Nick, Dev and their crew.
