The Grass & Rock Shoppe

I really like the selection and quality of the products at The Grass and Rock Shop—especially the flagstone. They carry a great variety, and it’s clear they care about offering good landscaping options. However, my experience wasn't entirely positive. I was advised to purchase more than twice as much flagstone as I ended up needing for my project. Luckily we have a good eye and bought just the right amount which saved us money and hassle. On top of that, the woman at the cash register seemed impatient and uninterested in answering our questions. It felt like she just wanted to rush us out the door rather than help us make the right choices. Don't know if I would come back. If so, I would ask to work with someone who is more patient.

Don’t buy their landscaping fabric because it can’t prevent nut grass even with two layers

Second visit and couldn't be happier. Really efficient at getting things loaded up and on your way to continue your project. Both visits were on a Saturday morning and the employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I originally chose them because the pricing on material is clearly posted on website, but the customer service has sold me as a repeat customer!

Spend a ton of money here on my last visit they busted a bag of mulch when loading it and I asked if I can exchange it for a bag that isn’t busted and they replied that the bag is still usable even though 50% or so fell out while they were loading it. Will now take my business to Lafayette Materials

Great customer service. Very friendly, efficient, and quality sod at great prices. Even if you don't live near by, it's worth your drive.
