The Home Depot

The worst, this home depot ever. I really stop coming here to being loads for the garden side. Product everywhere, it's a very small area, pallets in the way off the drivers. Ppl on the clock for nothing, can't get the help you need. This is ridiculous. Took them over 2hrs to unload my truck. I'm not delivering here again. Horrible management .

I went into Home Depot on 1/22 looking for a lantern in preparation for the upcoming storm headed to our area. I absolutely don't go in HD for anything so I had no clue where to look. I asked an associate for help, Terry was his name, and he guided me to exactly what I was looking for. He was very nice and professional and I just wanted to acknowledge him in this review.

I placed an order for a delivery from the local Home Depot here in Augusta. The delivery service partner delivered the wrong order to my house. That is clearly not Home Depot‘s fault but the problem that I have is with how Eric the incompetent manager handled the entire situation. It took forever to get anyone on the phone and once I did, he insisted that the solution was for me to come into the store, which I said I absolutely would not do that Because not coming to the store was the entire reason for having the order delivered. He then demanded to know why I wouldn’t come into the store and insinuated that there was some insidious reason for me not coming in, which made it sound like I perhaps, had behaved in an improper, immoral way potentially with someone who works there. To the unruly people who were there harassing those two young men for wood I’m disappointed. How dare you talk down to service workers when all they try and do is help, they were dealing with multiple people and you thought your problems would be above everyone else’s. Kudos to those two young men for handling the “situation” so quickly, respectfully, and carefully. Do better as people, the employees aren’t always the problem sometimes customers make a business unbearable to come back to. I’m both disappointed and satisfied, I hope those men are praised.
