Love Home Depot. It's always nice to have a second opinion with builder supply warehouses. The staff however seems to be a bit more helpful than other warehouses. I wish that we had one closer to us.

I have shopped HOME Deport in Garner, and Fuquay-Varina for years. Service has never been bad, but not SUPERIOR until today! I shopped at the HOME DEPOT IN CARY on Walnut Street. We are relocating and I needed a number of different items. You got it, I was ALL OVER THE STORE. The thing that really set this store ahead of ALL others was GIVON R. a Home Depot Sales Associate. I ran into him with the first item on my list, he quickly said he would be right with me as soon as he finished with a customer he was helping. I heard him tell the customer after looking his item up, "I am so sorry, we are out of stock but here are two stores you might be able to find what you need." Immediately he searched for my item, found it and asked what else who could help me with. I repeated a number of items

Extremely Dangerous Product – Nearly Caused House Fire! I purchased two of the Commercial Electric model LA-12A Smart Surge Protectors (6-Outlet with USB ports, powered by Hubspace) from the Home Depot in Cary, NC (2031 Walnut St) on March 25, 2024. Advertised as handling up to 1875W (15A at 125V standard rating), I connected a legitimate 1500W load (well under the claimed capacity) to one, and the unit catastrophically failed: the housing began melting, smoldering, and producing enough smoke to set off my home smoke alarm. This was a terrifying near-miss fire hazard that could have easily burned down my house. The device is clearly not safe for anything close to its advertised load—poor quality control or misleading specs on this Commercial Electric product. I tried to contact Home Depot

So, we came for the kids workshop yesterday. We come all the time for this and it is usually excellent. The two people working at the table were great. However, I did not appreciate that a different employee came up and gave a sales pitch for an HVAC service we are uninterested in. The whole interaction was awful. First, he criticized how we were helping our son with the project. Then he tried to sell us a service while we were essentially stuck there and couldn't get away. And last - even though he came to our table to talk, he only looked at and addressed my husband. He didn't say hello to me or acknowledge my presence. Because God forbid in 2025 a woman have any say in home improvement services. The whole thing was icky and misogynistic. Please tell your employees not to do any of the

Was looking through plywood when Mike came up to us with a cart since we don’t have one. He helped us cut the plywood to fit in our car and answered questions about different material availability. A great experience and really appreciated the help.
