The Home Depot

Hello my name is Marlene Wolf I was in the Garden at Home Depot. Jose Ramirez took a picture of me by the Christmas tree the he decorated for the whole Home Depot store. He made ornaments with wood slices from trimming of Christmas trees. It is really cute. People that work in the store are very friendly. I am a 72 year old customer senior veteran from the US Army. I really like the store , it is clean, the employees are so friendly when I meet someone. If I am looking or buying something at the store. Employees always ask if I need any help looking for something.

So far my kids and I are in love with this new Home Depot. So organized and clean and visually appealing. I am a huge fan of home improvement stores and this may be the nicest one I’ve ever been to. Also, the employees are awesome. I’ve attached a photo of my temporary janky closet fix they helped me with for attention :)

Today I visited Home Depot to pick up some stain. Crews from the paint department came over to us to assist us in finding the correct stain. She was very pleasant and helped us to find the right stain. My experience in other stores, the workers dodge you rather than assist but that is not the case for Home Depot. Thank you so much Crews, you are a blessing.

I was charged twice for the same product. I was told the duplicate charge was cancelled. It was not. It showed up on my Home Depot credit card. I contacted Customer Service. They said to dispute the charge and I'd get a credit that way. I did and the dispute was denied because they didn't evern bother to understand the issue. I'll never spend another dime at Home Depot

When I looked around for help, most of the employees were actively avoiding eye contact. When I asked an employee a question about a product, they simply repeated exactly what I had asked and then disappeared after asking, "Is everything taken care of?" I am happy that my favorite Home Depot opened a branch in Charlottesville, but it looks like I should stick with the Lowes that I always went to.
