The price difference from December to February 2 on this exact product was $110 dollars. That's a huge difference over a very short period of time and there were no sale prices in December so this is way beyond inflation.

Have always chosen Home Depot over Lowe's but I will say Lowe's has much better customer service. I asked a clerk about some door casing he told me where it should be I told him I looked there and that was the end of it. He said you may look again, he didn't seem to want to help much do I went to Lowe's and bought it.

Lazy employees. I came into for a few items and to buy a washer and dryer. Employees weren’t helpful at all and just talked to each other. I waited around for a cut on a small wooden dowel. Not a big deal right? Wrong. Totally ignored and when I asked for help I was told someone would come who never did. Your employees in the corner office saw me and never offered me assistance. I complained to customer service and all I got was a “sorry”. You just lost my business which I’m sure you don’t care about. Customer service ain’t hard. I doubt I’ll receive a response at all and if I do it’ll be a generic one.

Had the best customer service today at this HomeDepot in Southgate. I was trying to find a bag of perlite and there was none on the shelves. The young man told me his scanner showed there are 36 bags in the store. After locating it all the way on top in a different aisle the manager got involved. He promised me he would get me the perlite went and got a forklift closed the aisle and got it down himself. He was so polite and helpful when he could have just said we are out of this item and I don’t think HomeDepot would go bankrupt over the $6 item but he went above and beyond to get the item down. When I paid I realized I didn’t get his name but the cashier said his name is David Buck and he is the night manager. He has no idea how happy he made me because I was too tired and exhausted to d
