I'm a customer who only speaks Chinese. Over the past two months, I've spent tens of thousands of dollars on home renovation materials at HomeDepot, but language barriers have been a major challenge. When I went to return the items, the language barrier meant the refund went to the wrong credit card. Fortunately, at the store near Johns Creek, I met a Chinese-speaking employee, Miao. She was knowledgeable and patient, helping me with the return and tax refund process. She successfully issued the refund to a HomeDepot gift card, saving me from the loss of the wrong credit card. I have great confidence in HomeDepot's quality and service, and I hope they'll hire more Chinese-speaking and excellent service representatives like Miao, as many Chinese people need home renovations. I just had the best customer service experience of my life. I called this Home Depot hoping to find the receipt for a garage door opener, which turned out to be quite a challenge - you need the right store, card, and amount before they can locate your purchase. Ms. Jill, however, was absolutely incredible. She stayed on the phone with me for over an hour, patiently going through countless purchases from my home remodel until we finally found the right one. Because of her persistence and kindness, I can now send the receipt to the manufacturer to get my replacement part. Ms. Jill, I’ve never met you in person, but I genuinely appreciate you - and you’re officially invited to my wedding!!! Friendly store. Bob @ hardware dept helped me break a lock after the key broke. I Other times I’ve purchased online and returned bulky items that arrived cracked ( plant pot). Returns are easy and the employees are helpful.

I've visited this store several times. Never had a bad enough experience to complain about. On 12/12/2025, at around 8:30, I needed help in the light area. I was in need of a few bulbs for my ceiling fan. The employee who was getting off took the time to help me find what I needed. He was one of the kindest people I've met in life. I can tell when someone is genuinely being themselves! I should have gotten his name to to include in this review! I just want to say to him! You are a light in the world! Thanks for your assistance and being a kind person!

Always great coming to this store. Lot of variety for various home improvement items that you may not find anywhere else at this price. Very helpful staff. Visited garden section today and staff there was also really good in helping find what you are looking for.
