The Home Depot

I recently visited this Home Depot today, on my way back from last licks creamery. I had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who were eager to assist me with anything I needed. I was in the market for a can of paint and garden lights. The staff member in the paint and light sections was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and helped me find exactly what I needed. He even answered all of our questions. The checkout process was smooth and efficient, and the cashier was also very friendly and professional. I appreciated how they took the time to double-check that I had everything I needed and thanked me for shopping with them. Went to Home Depot East Hanover to get tools for work. Gary asked if I needed any help and I showed him my list. He took the list and showed me where everything was and even helped me pack up my cart. Made my trip a lot easier and quicker than if I searched for everything on my own. Outstanding Customer Service from Gary. Thank you, Gary, it was a pleasure!

Horrible store. People who work there don’t care. I purchased something and forgot it at the register, immediately came back and the sales person would not give me the item I paid for just seconds ago. She insisted I give her receipt. I did not have receipt as I don’t usually take from the register. This store basically stole from me. The item I paid for was legally mine and they refused to give it to me.

I’ve never left reviews but I just have to say, some workers are incredibly passive aggressive and rude. Every time I come here, workers ask me if I need help and when I ask questions, they respond with the biggest attitudes. Why ask us if we need help if you’re just gonna give us an attitude the whole time? I have never had a good interaction with workers here, it seems as if most of them hate their jobs. They always respond as if I’m stupid, but obviously I’m asking questions because I don’t know. Especially Gary. If you don’t want to help, don’t ask customers if they need help.

I bought a mini refrigerator at Home Depot in East Hanover. Your employee, Bernadette was very helpful. She found what I was looking for and then found me a cart. Please acknowledge her for her helpful customer service. Marlene Feinman
