I honestly go out of my way to shop at The Home Depot in Edgewood, Maryland. I’m not sure what this location does differently, but the staff here is consistently the most helpful and accommodating I’ve experienced—and I’m not talking about just one or two employees. Everyone I encounter is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help. I can’t say the same about a few nearby locations (Middle River, Aberdeen , or Bel Air)—no offense intended—but the Edgewood Home Depot truly stands out. The level of customer service here is simply amazing. One small suggestion would be to help train newer, younger staff to become more familiar with where items are located in the store, rather than relying solely on mobile devices. Very disappointed. The Manager doesn't have a clue what he's doing. I went to Home Depot in Edgewood for a microwave. They had a sale on a dryer, plus I had a coupon, so I wanted to order the dryer too. The sales lady in appliances was helpful. She put in the order for the dryer using the coupon, but said she can't use the coupon for the microwave too, since the dryer was being ordered & the microwave was in-store. I asked if the manager could help us apply the coupon since it's valid for one transaction. It's not my fault they can't be rung up together. The Manager said yes, but we would have to be rung up at customer service. Great! No problem. He rings up the microwave (also a couple rugs) accepts the coupon & we paid. No problem. I visited Home Depot in Edgewood on 3/20/25 to purchase a reciprocating saw. Unfortunately, the employee at the desk was not very helpful and spoke to me in a way that felt rude, asking whether I wanted to buy the tool or just learn about it. The interaction left me feeling dismissed rather than assisted. I would have appreciated a more supportive and respectful approach, especially when asking for guidance on a product.

Nancy and Jen at the Pro Xtra desk were so delightful to work with. I was having trouble ordering my blackstone grill online with my coupon and Pro Xtra bucks. Those beautiful humans helped me complete my order and took the time to explain my perks and how the program works. AMAZING customer service associates the pair of them. I will definitely be seeking one of them out for assistance anytime I shop and need it. Or to just say hi. Thank you Jen and Nancy! Your energy, spirit and willingness to help are rare these days. I am battling cancer and needed help shopping today. George came right over within seconds when I scanned a QR help needed sticker. He was extremely polite and helpful in multiple areas of the store. I bought two DeWalt chain saws, a blower, spare chains, multiple spare batteries and a Rigid angle grinder to match my other Rigid tools. George made all this easy and managed to help a few others along with me. Employees like George are why Home Depot Edgewood MD is my go to store. Thanks George.
