Who hasn't purchased online or completed an online order for delivery? For those of us that have, the experience can be exciting and some times disappointing. I ordered items online. The order was split into 2 shipments; one was a warehouse FedEx delivery, the other was a store to site delivery. That store to site (my shop) was delivered incomplete. I contacted customer service, they transfered me to the store. I spoke with Vance, the Assistant Store Manager, he took a few minutes and verified the order, clarified the issue, saw my concern and instantly rectified it! This wasn't a "take care of the customer with a gift card to shut them up". This was a legitimate concern and it was handled quickly and with a lot of "customer repor and respect". Had this been earlier in the day, the rating would have been one star... I went to their store 3 times today just to get wood. The first time I waited and waited, someone at the front paged an employee to lumber twice and no one came. Plenty of employees just talking and wandering around, not acknowledging that you need help. I had to pick up my daughter so left. I went back this afternoon again trying to get wood and long-story short, I left without it again. Everything in me wanted to go to Lowe's but they're further away. So, I returned to Home Depot for the third time this evening and was lucky enough to be helped by Tafari. Edit: After posting my review, someone reached out and scheduled a job site pickup to grab the incorrect order, and I was able to get the correct items. Still not happy about the quality of delivery, but it means a lot to reach out and try to make it right. Original review: It's generally a bad experience ordering from Home Depot -- I purchased boards and assorted items from Home Depot which they delivered on time (great job), but they delivered the boards and all other items by setting them in a puddle in the rain literally 1 foot from my carport. If I wasn't home, everything would have been damaged. This is especially bad due to the wide open carport close by. They also canceled one of the items without notice to me due to unavailability. If you know what you need and can find it on your own and can check yourself out,this is your home improvement store. but if you need help,good luck! There are quite a few associates,but they are more interested in each other than customers. A lot of them seem to be wandering around aimlessly. That's how this trip went. I try to go get what I need here because I get the military discount off my phone number.

My pregnant friend and I were setting the Christmas tree when she realized she grabbed the wrong lights. We ran into Home Depot ten minutes before close and were greeted with a staff of kind faces ready to help us! We were able to make our return and get the right lights, ensuring a joyful night.
