The Home Depot

Every store policy is different inside Home Depot. This store specifically 1535 is a joke. I have had a pro account with Home Depot for over 10 years. Today will be my last. I will be canceling and stop doing business altogether with Home Depot. LOWES is now be my go to store.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at your store. I called six times trying to reach the appliance department only to be repeatedly transferred to customer service and left a voicemail. On my final attempt, I requested to speak with a manager, who promptly connected me to the appliance manager. Unfortunately, the appliance manager refused to look up my order and stated he could not assist with an appliance that was the wrong size unless it was one of the few items in stock in store. When I asked if my purchased item was an in stock item, he refused to even look up my order. Pro account holder. Generally a $5-$10K per year spend. I like the cust svce team here a lot. 5 stars. And also the Pro desk at checkout. 4 stars overall with 5 stars to Natasha and Savannah/Samantha?, Josh and Jack. One downside, no tool rental or vehicle rental here. That’s a pain. But the reason for 2 stars is the lumber selection is small compared to a regular Home Depot. And worse, the lumber staff are NOT culling the reject lumber. I even talked to the DM about it when I bumped into him at the store. But 6 months later, still full of garbage lumber all the time. A recent trip just to get some 1x 3’s meant I sorted through over 50 boards that had ZERO acceptable. Really. ZERO! When I got a supevisor over to show him, he said you’re right. The staff at this location work hard everyday to maintain a clean, stocked, and safe store for their customers. Their employees and managers are knowledgeable of their products and where things are located. Not only that, they are glad to help you with your shopping experience and with your project questions. They know their stuff and are glad to have you in their store with them!

I purchased a new garage door opener and had and am continuing to have the worst experience. Within a month, the unit stopped working. Nearly 2 months and dozens of calls and many hours later, it still doesn’t work. Do not buy anything that requires a 3rd party install from Home Depot. They won’t fix issues and point fingers at the installer who points a finger at the manufacturer. You’ll never get what you paid for.
