The Home Depot

This is the third time the return supervisor has shown a negative attitude toward customers. My company spends over $700,000 a year at this store, yet we continue to receive service that does not match the level of investment we make. Today we attempted to return a $4,800 generator, and instead of receiving assistance or a solution, we were met once again with a complete lack of willingness to help — even when communicating in English. It is disappointing that a store of this size allows its staff to treat customers this way, especially when dealing with high-value transactions. I truly hope Home Depot reviews these situations and improves the quality of service in the return department. Good customer service should not be optional.

I would not recommend using Home Depot’s Pro Referral service based on my experience. One contractor sent through the program arrived smelling strongly of alcohol, another claimed my roof was damaged when it was not. The estimates I received were also significantly higher than expected. I hired another referred contractor for plumbing work, but the leak was never properly fixed, and he has not responded to requests to return and correct the issue. Overall, the screening and quality control of contractors through this service did not meet expectations. I would advise homeowners to carefully vet contractors independently rather than relying solely on this referral program. This is a pretty poor response from the Hole Depot team. How do you expect to improve anything when you don't bother

Excellent customer service at this location. I wanted thank an outstanding associate, Mr. Garnik, for providing one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. I came in overwhelmed about leaf blowers, and he took the time to walk me through everything, truly a full “Leaf Blower 101.” He explained specs, features, weight, and battery details clearly and patiently. He even walked me over to the battery section to show me packaging, pricing, and what would work best for my needs. His knowledge, thoroughness, and genuine commitment to helping customers made my shopping experience easy and stress-free. Associates like Mr. Garnik are the reason customers return. He is a true asset to Home Depot.

Just had to drop a good review for a wonderful employee who assisted me today. Big shout-out to REGGIE for stopping what he was doing and personally walking over to help me find—and even reach—the item I was looking for. That level of customer service really goes a long way with me. I’ll definitely continue doing business with Home Depot because of experiences like this. I hope Reggie moves up to a manager role someday—he’s got the kind of people skills that deserve to be shared with the whole team! 💪🏾

Was picking out my supplies in the paint aisle during normal business hours (4pm on a Friday) and an employee yelled at me from the other end of the aisle: “excuse me are you done yet? We are waiting on you to close off the aisle” so that they could use the forklift to get stuff down from top shelves. I understand the need to do this but the employee was so rude about it and rushed me out of the aisle after yelling at me to clear out.
