These days, when you spend your money on anything, transparency and communication go a long way. I just wish that when Home Depot hires contractors, they would send someone out to inspect the work and hold them accountable for their craftsmanship. I don’t always know what I’m looking for, so I end up feeling like the “nagging” customer every time I call after discovering issues later on. For example, my front door had a 3/16-inch gap that the contractor tried to blame on the age of my house. Then I noticed another gap at the corner of the screen door, along with a new crack above the door frame in the drywall. We buy all our paint from this branch as the staff are excellent at what they do. They take their time to help find exactly what we are looking for. The colour match service is excellent. The store is well stocked albeit a tad messy.

Home Depot doesn't make it easy to leave a review ... I have been looking for an HOUR on their site with no luck. I am renovating a home and painting everything inside and out. They were interested in the projects; they spent time with me selecting colors; they laughed with me; they sang "Sandra Dee" with me.
