The Home Depot

We live about 8–10 minutes from Home Depot, and since I love Halloween, we’ve collected three 12-foot skeletons plus tons of smaller decorations. You better believe we were there right after Halloween grabbing all the deals! I recently stopped in and saw this new Christmas one… and I don’t know how to feel about Chewy here 🤣 I feel like our NY weather would destroy him! Staff is always friendly, and it’s pet-friendly too. Definitely check it out if you need tools, are doing home repairs, or planning any upgrades!

I have never had a more pleasant experience at a Home Depot. Rafael, I believe his name was, was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He carried a massive box throughout the store for me and helped me facilitate a seamless return when it eventually did not fit in my car. Such a pleasant guy and hope I didn’t bother him too much by getting his steps in for the day.

Went to this store today with my little one. This lady with a small dog was walking past us. Her dog lunged at my child to attack him; she pulled her dog leach and my child went behind me. Lady dog started growling and pulled from her just to attack my child. Just because stores allow service dogs does not mean every joes and Jane should bring their untrained vicious dogs to the store with them. Y’all make it bad and uncomfortable for others to shop in peace and safe. And also bad for others who really used service dogs for medical reasons. I can see a lot of stores closing in the future dues to lawsuits because of situations like this.

Several employees were very helpful and kind when I went in there over the last few weeks. I also worked with Ellen (Kitchen Designer) who was extremely helpful, intelligent, motivated, friendly, and engaging. She did a wonderful job designing kitchen cabinets and layout, and I would recommend going to meet with her for kitchen remodel designs and products.

I had the best experience at this store in Clifton Park, NY. Tracy Lenz helped me find the perfect flooring for my podcast studio for the "Choose A Happy Day" podcast where I record video as well as audio. She helped me calculate exactly how much flooring I would need, pick out the type of flooring and to direct me to the most economical pricing for my budget. She then even helped me load the flooring into my car. I am so grateful for her help. I was wandering aimlessly through the isles and waited for her to help (she was with another customer when I arrived) and boy was she a blessing! I have gone back since and she was equally as helpful. She is a gem of an employee and I hope that she is recognized as so at the Home Depot.
