I tried using Home Depot for the first time for built-in cabinets for my home, which is an hour and a half drive away from HD, versus using a local business, as I was on a tighter budget and didn’t need high-end cabinets. The design specialist I spoke with over the phone and met with was very friendly and helpful. Where I began to be disappointed was how long the process took in Design -I was not given a clear understanding of the number of decisions that I needed to make, how many times I would need to go back to Home Depot To meet with the same design specialist, and how each of those decisions and visits would impact the overall timeframe. Home Depot in Idaho Falls is pretty much what you’d expect from any Home Depot—reliable, well-stocked, and convenient. It has all the standard selections for home improvement projects, tools, garden supplies, and more. The layout is familiar, making it easy to find what you need quickly. Nothing particularly unique compared to other locations, but that’s part of the convenience—you know what you’re getting every time.

We go into this store a lot and we just had the absolute worst experience at this Home Depot. The poor level of customer service and lack of common sense and safety was something we’ve never experienced at The Home Depot before. There were 5 guys loading our stuff and they still managed to damage it because they had no idea what they were doing and zero experience running a fork lift. This was not a big load. My husband who runs heavy machinery for a living spoke up several times letting them know the way they were loading our newly purchased goods was going to damage it and we were ignored. We called the store and spoke to a manager who didn’t really seem to grasp the seriousness of our concerns with safety and complete lack of respect for us and our merchandise. We ordered a chicken coop online from them. They have no idea where some of it is. They signed for it but only have 2 of the 3 boxes. So they can have 2 stars for the 2 boxes they magically managed to have. They showed very little concern about finding the third.

I've had nothing but great experiences over the past 2 1/2 decades at this Home Depot location. Recently I had to do a partial kitchen remodel in my home and had the pleasure to work with Bailey Crapo, the head Kitchen and Bath designer. She was friendly, knowledgeable & responsive and overall invaluable with helping me decide on my new cabinets, counter top and flooring. Thank you Bailey!
