The Home Depot

Recently, purchased a product that was previously returned. Upon getting home with the product realized, the previous purchaser had swapped out the battery with a much smaller cheaper battery and returned it to keep the larger battery. Went back to home depot, explained the situation and they swapped me out products with no hesitation. Excellent customer service all the way around from the floor staff to the management team. Keep up the good work!

Location is well maintained and clean. Employees are amazing and very nice, helped me find everything I needed. Had an issue at checkout and two employees came to help quickly clear the issue. No power saws at this location to cut wood, but there are hand saws. Was able to cut wood to preference.

My wife and I just went into home Depot for some paint and we had a great experience with the person helping us in the paint department he was friendly and knowledgeable and his costumer service skills were great. His name was Angel. Ask for him for all your paint needs.

Pros: The Lafayette HD is nice and clean with really friendly staff. Has a good selection. Cons: They (corporate policy) don't give a Veterans Discount on lumber. There estimate for ordered items is generally wrong. Takes longer than what they say.

I really love this store. I've been in several locations but the staff here is just extra nice, patient and helpful. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite shopping destinations. To be critical, there are often pallets of items left unattended in aisles that can be annoying but it's likely due to getting pulled to help a customer.
