Madison at the Home Depot in Linden, NJ gave me one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. She handled my return quickly and smoothly, and then went above and beyond to help me with an online credit issue where I kept getting bounced around. She was patient, calm, and truly did everything in her power to get it resolved. It was honestly refreshing—especially with how frustrating and difficult the situation was. Big thanks to Madison for making it a great experience. Highly recommend working with her if you’re at that location.

Horrible customer service. No one answers the phone. Left me a voice mail indicating my door arrived damaged. No indication as to what was damaged, if I wanted to take it anyway. I have waited a MONTH for delivery. Now I have to wait another month and there is no way to know if the second door will arrive damaged or not. I have been on hold for 20 minuets at this point. Pathetic. Pay more and go to a local building supply house.

Totally incompetent management. I go to get a simple thing, this was on Friday. I enter the store and get greeted by an associate. I thought awesome, then I realized that he wasn't being just nice, he wanted me to buy some garbage he was holding in his hand, I told him no. As I proceeded through the store I got hit for the same thing by about 8 other associates and what I perceived to be management. I couldn't shop in peace. Your sales techniques are based on being pests until you trick people into buying garbage that obviously doesn't sell on its own. I'm taking my business elsewhere in future, I eventually got what I came for, non of your associates know anything. It was very bad experience when we all was under covid situation now it's totally different scenarios. All items are very well organized. Most important staff is very friendly and helpful. Amazing experience with not only one but 4 employees. In plumbing department, rental department and garden equipment department. All employees took very serious share their knowledge and guide very professional and properly. I remember name Edwin and Alicia.

I was fully prepared to purchase a major appliance from Home Depot, but today I noticed something extremely disappointing. The price of the product was raised, only for Home Depot to then put it “on sale” to receive the savings at the same price it originally was. This is a deceptive tactic designed to mislead customers into thinking they’re getting a deal when they absolutely are not. I value honesty and transparency when making big purchases, and this experience has completely turned me away from Home Depot. I will now be shopping elsewhere and sharing this experience with friends and family so they can be aware of these misleading practices as well. Home Depot has lost my trust, and I hope others pay attention and avoid falling for these tactics. I’ll be taking my business to retailer
