Been coming to Home Depot for decades now and had a terrible experience. I’m a now local contractor moved down from Illinois and went into this Home Depot. I’ve had the same tool belt from Home Depot since 2012 and decided to buy a new one. Picked out a Husky Belt and took it to the register. The belt said it was supposed to have a suspended attachment with it which I did not see. I went back into the aisle to pick another and there were none. Despite the app saying there were 4 in stock. I called for help the man did not see any either and did not have a phone handy to check inventory so I then took the belt to the front to ask a woman at the register if she could see if there were more in stock. She took the belt from me and told me that she could not sell it and that if I didn't see it

This is a pretty decent home Depot store. Tends to have more items and stock than the Lowe's across the street. The customer service reps are pretty good and usually take care of your issues. The thing that I dislike the most about the stores when you have to buy batteries you have to find someone to open the battery box. When you ask someone to be paid to the tool section it can take anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. I needed to be at a customer's location I came in to buy some batteries and it took me 35 minutes to purchase one battery from the time I asked for someone to help me to the second time I asked someone to help me to the third time I have someone to help me to someone arriving opening the door being unable to reach the battery cuz it was at the very top peg and then being walked

Terrible customer service displayed by cashier Jahan today. My husband and I were in line for a while waiting to check out. Jahan was just standing there watching us. Another customer approached behind us and Jahan proceeded to check them out while we were still waiting. She gave me a dirty look when I voiced that we were waiting first. Home Depot should retrain her in customer service.
