The Home Depot

On or about December 5, 2025, I went to the Mission Viejo Home Depot (store number 0614) to bring this issue to the attention of a manager regarding an interior door installation project. I spoke with Yesenia Carrillo, Specialty Assistant Manager (Yesenia), provide her with all the pictures via AirDrop and my writer notes of the issue and concerns. Yesenia later called me and asked I would email her my written concerns, which I did thereafter. I was told by Yesenia that my concerns would be passed on to the installer as stated in her email on December 8, 2025. I have not heard from either the installer or Home Depot. I again sent a follow up email to the Home Depot on February 6, 2026. I have yet to hear back yet. I was told by the Nick (estimator) that the company doing the installation

Spookiest Halloween collections at great prices. The variety of products available is also good. Could find everything that I wanted. The garden section is vast as well :)

I like this Home Depot, it's one of the larger stores, so it has a wide selection of different products and usually plenty in stock. It's kinda tucked away, so usually not as busy as other stores. People are great, pleasant. Even the people in returns are nice, which usually is not the case. Big parking lot, tool rental with easy access and great associates, pro desks, etc. One of my favorite Home Depots, highly recommended 10/10

Very disappointing experience. I purchased a cooktop at Home Depot and paid for installation, expecting a straightforward process as the appliance associate assured me. Instead, I was scheduled for a 5:00 AM appointment, which was unusual—but after confirming multiple times, I agreed. No one showed up. Later that afternoon, an installer arrived but said he couldn’t do the job alone and that I needed a new estimate. When I called the store, they were completely unaware of the situation, and the installer confirmed that the information hadn’t even been passed along. This shows a serious communication breakdown between the store and their installation contractors. Customers are left frustrated, paying more, and waiting far longer than necessary. Regularly come to this Home Depot. There is never anyone working in the lumber section. This location needs to train more people on how to use the wood cutting machinery. 2/28 @ 3:44pm
