The Home Depot

Ricardo De La Cruz in the lot was incredibly helpful at Home Depot. He went out of his way to help me load a huge order while others tried to avoid the work. Great attitude, hardworking, and much appreciated.

Was driving through Sac on business & it dawned on me I had never been to a Home Depot in this area. So I had to stop & see what I could see…Growing up my dad would trick me into going to Home Depot with him bc I learned early on there’s really no such thing as a “in-&-out-quick-trip” to Home Depot with him! We could be going for one specific thing & end up there for well over an hour! As an adult now working in construction I’ve became a connoisseur of Home Depot’s, Lowe’s, & hardware stores LOL! I’ve come to realize the stores out of my area, at times, have certain items that my local Home Depot doesn’t stock! I enjoy roaming the isles while new ideas for upcoming projects come to fruition.

Today early in the morning I had gone in to go and get sand bags because my backyard was getting flooded and I needed help getting the bags loaded into my vehicle thankfully I was helped by Ximena & Marcus from today’s shift. They did a magnificent job!

I am extremely pleased with the service I received today. Chris, from the lumber department, went out of his way to assist me. I was uncertain about what to purchase since I had a tapestry measuring 120' by 90' and wanted to create a frame for it to resemble a picture frame. Chris skillfully used a handsaw to cut the wood to the required dimensions and even made 45-degree angle cuts for the sides. Additionally, he was very friendly and helped me select the plywood needed for a project, cutting it to the exact sizes I required. His patience and friendliness were impressive. Moreover, he lent me his tape measure to check if the wood would fit in my car, as I was unsure about its capacity. Chris had assured me it would fit based on the brand of SUV I mentioned. I stopped by for a quick shopping run to grab a few small items like screws, and unfortunately the experience wasn’t very bike friendly. I was told I couldn’t bring my bike inside and would need to leave it outside at my own risk. There wasn’t a designated bike rack or secure parking area available either. As someone trying to make a simple bike run, this was disappointing. I’ll now have to return by car just to pick up a few small items, not ideal.
