I would like to recognize Bella in the Rental Department at The Home Depot on Hunt Highway for her outstanding customer service. When I came in on Saturday with concerns about the generator I had rented, Bella handled the situation with exceptional professionalism. She demonstrated excellent active listening skills, taking the time to fully understand my concerns before responding. She clearly explained the company policy and thoughtfully applied it to my specific situation in a fair and respectful manner. The only issue I have with this location is the checkout lines. Every time I visit, there’s always a line because several self-checkout registers are closed, and only about four registers are open at a time. The line often blocks people from moving freely through the store. On a busy Saturday morning, they still don’t open all the registers or have employees help at the others. I noticed two people standing around directing traffic instead of assisting at the registers. It seems like this is a management decision rather than an employee issue.

By far the worse experience I ever experienced as a customer anywhere. The wife wanted to see how much the gift cards we received were . A simple question. “Amy” the manager there was manipulating, dismissive, down right unprofessional. They said they couldn’t help, not their problem, call corporate. Ok fine, they gave us the number. The corporate lady told my wife they had the pin for the card. My wife went back to Amy to hand her the phone, nope. Amy didn’t like when people answer her back. Started yelling at my wife on how she trying to give her the phone. Amy made a huge scene at Home Depot. Made us look crazy. Said they can’t use customer phones and said they would have to call corporate for the pin. Why make us call them then? Why yell at us like that? I had enough of Amy beratin
