The Home Depot

Just your average Home Depot, but I had a great visit! I picked up some beautiful white tulips from the gardening section and I’m excited to plant a new row of flowers. They had a really nice assortment of plants to choose from. My friend also appreciates how helpful the employees are when he’s shopping for wood for his projects. Overall, a solid experience with a good selection and friendly assistance when needed.

I went to the Home Depot in Shirley to buy some wood stain, a sander and a few other items. The sales staff in the paint and equipment departments were wonderful but the staff at the check out was unpleasant and made me uncomfortable when I asked if someone could just help load my purchases into my car which was parked right out front due to a medical issue. They were not receptive. Fortunately, an incredibly professional and competent sales associate named Lorraine overheard my conversation with the checkout staff and actually accompanied me to the car and placed everything inside. She really turned around a very distressing situation. Lorraine and the two other sales associates in paint and tools were great. Home Depot should offer customer service training to their check out staff. Lorr

Had two unused tubes of caulk from a project. Apparently your employees are trained to recite that “a third party company in Georgia” is now regulating what you can and cannot return to the store - even with a receipt. Unacceptable Home Depot. From a contractor family that spends thousands a year at your store, I can assure you that’s the last time we will do business with your company.

I know people tend to go in the stores and mix up things in the aisles but the plumbing aisle was horrendous here. Everything was mixed together and it doesn't look like anybody paid any attention recently and trying to put things back together again. It was so frustrating I left

Couldn't find a salesperson for help, and when I did, they could help me and suggest to come back tomorrow to speak with sales representatives who worked dept.2rd Photo on 07/10/25 sale ended yesterday sign still up and sales representatives said won't honor sale and didn't remove sign 🤦🏿‍♀️ bait and switch alive and well @homedepot 🤷🏾
