Very courteous team members. Got a storm door ordered and it was clear they had the knowledge and proficiency to explain the differences and process. Had to go back a few days later for generator and a few other things, everyone at 6am was on point & helpful.

This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I originally ordered a lawn mower and received one in terrible condition—rusted blades and all. I didn’t make a big deal out of it because I understand mistakes happen. I contacted the store, and the manager told me they’d need to cancel and repurchase the order, but assured me they would handle everything on their end. The return was processed without issue, but I never heard back about the repurchase. I called the store to follow up and was told—again—that the manager was handling it and to call back later. I asked for a callback when they were available. That never happened. At that point, I decided to repurchase the mower myself. I’m a tough critic when it comes to these big box stores. Normally their customer service is non existent and the stores are chaotic and poorly run. I’m happy to report that was not the case at this location on a Saturday afternoon! The first thing I noticed walking in was that the cart returns were empty and the parking lot was clean! I was actually pretty shocked. Shock #2 came while I was roaming an isle and an employee approached me and asked if I needed help finding anything! As someone who shops at Home Depot and Lowes way too often, I don’t even remember the last time I didn’t have to seek out an employee when I needed assistance. I want to be fair and start with the good stuff. Prices are reasonable and the selection is decent. I find myself coming here more often even though it's farther away than its competitor. BUT I don't know what people are talking about when they say this place has good customer service. It's terrible. Several times I've asked for help and they page someone, only to wait and wait and wait. No one ever comes. It's a waste of time asking for assistance.

The 2 sales associates at the self checkout in Stafford, Va HD were amazing. They scanned and bagged my order as I was really not wanting to do it🤣🤣🤣🤣 Smiles and jokes all the way around. Amazing and friendly. Way to go Stafford Home Depot
