The Home Depot

Normally I have very positive experiences at this Home Depot. The gentleman who is usually at the entrance is always very kind and helpful, and the people at the checkout counters typically provide five-star customer service. That’s why the experience I had today was so surprising. Today, Sunday, March 8, around 3:40 p.m., I came back to buy three more cans of the same paint I had already purchased before. The first time I bought this paint, the employee very kindly offered to place the cans in the shaker machine. Even though it was white paint, they usually mix it for at least a minute because it has been sitting on the shelves for a long time. Today in the paint department there was an employee whose name, according to what I read on the uniform, was Sidney (or something very similar).

I’ve shopped at this Home Depot several times for both big projects and small fixes, and my experiences have been mixed. On the positive side, they have one of the largest selections of tools, building materials, appliances, and garden supplies you’ll find anywhere. you can usually find what you’re looking for in one trip. Many stores have knowledgeable employees who are happy to help, and in-store shopping is straightforward when staff are available. Customers frequently praise specific associates who go out of their way to be helpful, especially on big purchases.

Today I was worried about cutting wood for my balcony repair, but I never expected them to offer this service for free. Moreover, their prices are better than many lumber companies. I really like it here, and I’ll probably come back often in the future.

This Home Depot is a lot better than the Home Depot one notch south. Very organized and the people who work here very friendly.

Initiated a chargeback on my credit card against this store. I ordered online Nov 24, order was canceled, have contacted the store multiple times as well as Home Depot online support. The store keeps telling me to call online support, online support says it can only be refunded in store. I'd just appreciate getting my $208 back at some point, as I received none of the order.
