I want to give a huge shoutout to John at the Home Depot in Wallingford. He helped me (again!) find exactly the lightbulb I needed for my curio cabinet, and every time I come in now, I know exactly who to ask for help. John is always so nice, incredibly helpful, and patient. It really makes a difference when someone takes the time to help and does it with such a great attitude. Excellent customer service every single time!

I had a wonderful experience at the depot tonight. The assistant manager was on her rounds when she noticed me struggling to find something on the closet aisle. She took her time to assist me, ensuring that I found what I needed and made me feel valued as a customer.

Self check out shouldn't be the only option. I had two employees watch me struggle to get my stuff on thier small counter. Fumble with the bagging. And when I complained. Some snot nose kid said it was self check out only sir. My mother has cancer and I'm trying to fix the bathroom for her when she gets home from the hospital. Looks like I'm going to Lowes right across the street from now on.

very thankful for Wallingford Home Depot today! Yesterday when I went I foolishly locked my keys in the car! I went to customer service and they said to check with tool rental if they had a tool I could use and if they don’t they also pointed out their store manager to check with after. I went to tool rental and they did not have anything I could use so I next went to the store manager- he stopped two employees and one of the employees also happened to work for AAA. A huge shoutout to Tye! Tye went out of his way to help me in the freezing cold and rain yesterday! This gentleman did not roll his eyes, huff, or give me attitude in any way- which is a lot of what you would get now! This also show how it benefits to hire employees that also have second jobs! The service here from their leadership is the worst I have ever come across ever in any store I’ve ever shopped. I’m applaud by the lack of customer service and common sense coming from key players in this building. Looking through some of these reviews I can see this is an ongoing issue in this location. Corporate needs to step in immediately and coach and train the team. Customer service is everything especially when we are spending a good chunk of money in there. Professionalism at an all time low. Even as far as the people answering phones I asked to speak to manager they continued to mock me and hang up in my face and were rude. I warn allllllllllllll customers considering to not go here.
