The Wasilla Home Depot is probably the best hardware store as far as the things within it that you can find in the valley. They are almost identical to Lowe's with a few differences. I would say that the employee engagement experience and individuals with expertise is slightly better at Home Depot versus Lowe's, This excludes calling them over the phone which can be extremely frustrating. About 70% of the time I call this store to try and get a question answered either I will be transferred somewhere where nobody picks up at all, or if somebody does pick up they either hang up on me or do not have the answer. Outside of that though it's one of my favorite stores, and their rental department is fantastic. In fact I'd like to focus on the rental department as one of the best parts of this Ho

Typically get great service on the sales floor of this store, however I ran into an issue with trying to make a return. The customer service associate (older female) did not allow me to return a charger and battery within the return policy due to it not being defective. She specifically said that the item must be unopened or have a defect in order to return. I’ve worked in retail management for years and have never seen a retailer refuse a return (besides consumables or specifically mentioned goods) from buyers remorse. There is no mention of this in the Home Depot return policy online for open box items like batteries/chargers. I attempted to contact the corporate customer service line which provided no assistance or clarification since it was an in-store purchase. When I contacted the st

Friendly staff and they usually have what I need. I wish they would crowd the store with more products, though. I can still navigate much of the store somewhat unimpeded and some of the aisles even allow for two customers going opposite directions to pass each other. Management, please seek out these aisles with too much room and place more displays and pallets/carts of stuff in them. A positive customer experience should include having to choose between backing out of the aisle or standing your ground when a fellow shopper is coming the other way. Home Depot only offers this experience in roughly half of the store.

So, 3 Staff to highlite here! Danny E, Casey and Jackie! If you see one of these people in the store, they will help. Danny saved me some money, pulled 8 bags of bad cement off a pallet..... Casey coordinated(and operated) a forklift, saving my back......and Jackie, she gave me a red pen(more important for my job than you would guess) to work my lists.....and helped me find stuff today too! Yeah, Wasilla Home Depot has a mixed bag but some of the Staff just make life easier! Thanks!

Will never ever buy appliances again. Got a 1000.00 stove with warranty after 8 months one front burner went out, the other front burner can't turn down the heat stays on to the highest. They wouldn't honor the warranty. Told me to take it to an appliance store there chosing to get it fix. They wanted $1200.00 to fix it more then what i paid for the stove. We hate lies 😒 Lowe's is were we shop from now on, we run a construction company always buying appliances. Taking them to court.
