The Home Depot

I stopped by this Home Depot on a Friday evening to look at some bathroom fixtures. I got the one I'm using now from a Home Depot, so I wanted to see if there was any new looking ones. This store was not busy when I came and I was able to find parking close to the entrance. It was very quiet inside but nicely organized. This Home Depot was one of the cleanest store I visited. I found the bathroom fixtures toward the back and they had some nice matte finish ones. I also took the time to look at some tiles and countertops which I saw a nice dark grey one at the store.

I went in looking for a space heater. One of the workers came up to me and ask me if I needed help. He couldn't answer a single question about the heaters, which had me wondering why he even asked if I wanted help. Out of curiosity, I asked him a question that I knew the answer to (the answer was literally on the box), and he didn't know. After I thanked him for his "help", he proceeded to try to sell me Sunrun solar power. So, then it became pretty clear why he was "helping" me in the first place. What the Hell Home Depot? I'm already in there buying something and you have to sick a salesman on me? So annoying! Just leave me alone and let me shop. If you're going to have employees offer help, make sure that they're actually helpful and not just wasting our time with a sales pitc

Absolutely unacceptable service at the West Hills Home Depot. I arrived at 9:58 PM, a full two minutes before the posted 10:00 PM closing time, and the doors were already locked. When I asked the manager to open the doors since the store was still officially open, he refused. Locking customers out before closing time is either lazy management or complete disregard for customers. If the store wants to close earlier so employees can leave sooner, then change the posted hours instead of wasting people’s time and gas. Customers rely on those hours being accurate. This is basic retail professionalism, and this location clearly does not care about honoring its own business hours. Very poor management and extremely frustrating experience.

Needed to replace a French door with sidelights . My old one all gone . Looked around the store and Mr. Fernando helped me out through the entire process . Very knowledgeable and super helpful. Guided me till the end of my transaction. There are 3 stores with in my 5 miles circle , however I always choose this location , tends to much more organized and the staff is always more helpful and more knowledgeable. Highly recommend this location and thank you Fernando . Sorry I don’t know your CB last name , I would say Fernando with great Hair 🤣

Marlin and David displayed great customer service! They helped us choose out our tiles and answered all our questions. They then assisted us by delivering the items to our car! Thank you again for the amazing service.
