I have visited many Home Depot locations, and I can honestly say that employees like her, who show genuine empathy for workers, clients, and even GCs, are rare. I went to the rental area to rent a box truck, and when I returned it, there were no hidden fees and she gave me a clear, thorough explanation of everything. This Home Depot is very messy and has lots of empty shelves. It’s probably because they sell a lot of items and they may have no time or enough people to restock the shelves.

I have been shopping at your store for many years because I live nearby, and I know your service rules very well. But what happened yesterday was unacceptable. I was pushing a large cart, and the aisles were so tightly packed with boxes that it was already difficult to move. All the checkout lights were green, yet two cashiers were standing there talking to each other, completely ignoring customers. Neither of them called me over, even though there wasn’t a single person in line. When I approached the register, the male employee with a badge that said “Show” stopped me, waved for me to go back, and told me I “wasn’t allowed to come up because he didn’t call me.” He couldn’t have called me, he was busy chatting with another female cashier.
