The Home Depot

Terrible customer service. GO TO LOWES, their staff would never do this. All staff I encountered have a "not my department" not my problem attetude (refer to video). I walked around for 20-30 min either asking for help or waiting for help (help never came). When I finally climb up to pull the fence section down and check out, the staff work harder to make sure the price was accurate. The sent two staff members to the back to make sure the price wad correct because it was "too low". If the staff came to help the first time this embarrassing exchange would not have been a problem. I bought a new hvac system from Home Depot and they had it installed, everything was great until 14 months later. My system went out and even though there is a 10 year warranty on the compressor, it will cost $4898.90 to fix it, with all the extra parts that they suggest ? I still owe $4500 + on it. Something isn’t right.

The sales personnel at this store are always friendly and helpful. I never have problems getting assistance and they are much more customer oriented than Lowes. I'd especially like to recognize the ladies (Brenda and Melissa) in the blinds department that helped me today. Melissa took the time to help me with the blinds selections and Brenda was a pro when it came to cutting the blinds. They were both so courteous and professional and I was so happy they were able to help me with my blinds problem.

My experience this evening at the Yulee store was fantastic! Without having to ask for assistance, a very nice and exceptionally helpful woman named Crystal S. asked if i was registered for a military discount (after noticing my Submarine Veteran hat). I said that I wasn't - she then asked me if she could just borrow my phone and set me up for the discount. After a few moments everything was all set and after I received my discount she explained what I needed to do in the future for each purchase. Crystal S. set the perfect example for all other HD employees to follow - she is a true asset to that particular store and was just lovely and polite all the way around!

Big shout out to Matt in lumber 🙌🏼 almost Home Depots are the same, this one has really really kind, friendly and funny staff.
