Do not upgrade to Luxury vinyl. If they tell you it better than hardwood floor. It's a lie. All my neighbor's are having the same issue. We paid so much to upgrade and during our walkthrough we didn't noticed the scratches. We informed L&L after we moved in and they tried to blame us. Found out other neighbors moved in with no furniture and there were scratches on the floor. L&L tried to blame them as well. Do not upgrade to the LUXURY VINY they are offering... If you can't afford hardwood, save your money.

We had a Gemcraft home built in 2016 with L&L flooring of which we have had many issues. Our carpet is wavy and coming apart at the seams. This has happened to all the rooms in our house that have carpeting. It is coming up in the corners as well. We have contacted L&L flooring about these issues several times. They have sent someone out to "stretch " our carpeting but the same thing keeps happening. We have never before had this issue in any of the other homes we have built. This is the most shoddy workmanship I have ever seen. This should never happen in a home that is only 5 years old or 15 years old for that matter. We feel that asking for new carpeting to be laid down is only fair to us. If you choose to do nothing about this issue we will contact the Better Business Bureau.
