The Lot on D Parking

My group's experience with this lot was terrible and I do not recommend it. We had booked parking for three days for about 100 dollars, and admittedly there were no problems on the first day, other than maybe the scanner and the gate having a little trouble, but we were able to get in and out of the lot just fine. On the second day however, we arrived at the lot and the gate was covered up so our car couldnt even get through. We were confused and had to go FIND somebody to explain why we couldnt go in (nobody was at the scanner actually watching the lot, and the guy we found was just milling about outside) we asked him what the issue was, and he said that the parking lot was full and that we had to call spothero and get a refund and go park in the street. Do not park here unless you want to lose money. They still do not know how to handle over-selling a parking lot. I booked this parking lot for 3 days spending 115$, Which is a really good price. The first day went well we got in with no issues. The second day however was not as lucky. When I got there the lot was blocked off. There was someone who worked for the lot that was there, when I talked to him he said the lot was full and there were still reservations that were going to come in. I let him know that I booked it on spot hero for a 3 day span meaning I could come back and park, he said he can't let me in and "call the company for a refund". I would highly recommend parking literally anywhere else after the horrible experience our group has had with this parking lot and its inadequate staff. We paid over $100 to reserve a spot here for ~3 days, only to come back on the second day and be completely blocked from even being able to enter the lot. There was one staff member roaming the outside who approached us to very curtly tell us to leave and “Go park in the street” (Something that would be hard to find and be VERY expensive as we had already dropped over $100 to park in this lot) Without any modicum of proper customer service etiquette (or basic human courtesy at that). Was at a private event at lawn on D that suggested this lot as the best parking option. When i entered there was a kiosk with a broken display (blank with lines) and no instructions on how to enter the lot. I should have left then. Luckily a valet was in a car behind me and shouted out that i needed to enter a credit/ debit card. When i did that the display was still broken and had no instructions besides a blank screen w lines, the gate opened and i parked. When i got back to my car the entire parking lot had lost power and myself and other customers were stuck in the lot with no way to exit. We repeatedly called the number listed on the kiosk and only got an answering machine, no response. Again, the valets/ lot attendants had to manually attempt to open the gate multiple times before b

Prepaid parking on parkconect site listed on the MCCA official website. Upon arrival the gate told us we would have to pay an additional $12 on exit even though our parkonect receipt mentioned nothing of this. Upon departure 4 days later, gate asked for the $12 which we tried to pay over and over with multiple cards and got declined every time. We were trapped in the lot for about an hour until a valet parking employee from the neighbor hotels were able to card us out with their own passes. Don't use this place.
