The Monarch Parking

First off, a parking ticket ($65) is cheaper than 24 hours in this garage ($71) if you drive an SUV. I brought my car (an Audi Q5) here the evening of May 21st. I asked the attendant (Oscar) what the rate was for 24 hours. He looked at the car and pointed to the wall and said $47 plus tax. Steep, but ok, fine. I came to pick up the car 24 hours later. Oscar was once again on duty. He rang me up and said the price was $71, there was a surcharge because I had an SUV. I explained to him that he saw the car the night prior and didn't call this out. The SUV surcharge has never applied to my vehicle in any other garage, since as I understand it, it only applies to *oversize* SUVs like a Navigator, Escalade etc... On top of this, when he brought the car out there was yellow paint on the bumper. O

Would like to recognize the following employees for exceptional service: When I called and spoke to Nick he verified that space was available at location and coordinated with attendant JR. Upon arrival Jr. was ready and took care of me and my family and provided us with a positive experience as we have encountered many other parking attendants that are rude and made us feel unwelcomed. Will definitely be returning to park here again.
