I wanted a gravel road, not pavement, and Alex treated the project with the same attention and care as if it were being fully paved. The gravel was compacted down with the roller they use for paving at each layer, so the driveway is strong, stable, and built to last. They also created excellent drainage solutions — thoughtful ditches, well-placed water bars, and a smart slope angled upward into the mountain. This means water will flow off naturally, protecting the road even during heavy rains or snowmelt. The layout makes plowing much easier too. They installed a driveway in Spring of 2023, cracks are forming everwhere, first crack formed not even a year later. We SEALED it like they told us to do after the first year and only parked our cars on it. It has no traffic other than that. As of early to mid 2026, the cracking is accelerating We were told by other asphalt contractors it needs to be redone. They've done nothing to help. We've called them countelss times to try to resolve, they lied to us telling us they'd come by and work with us. I even offered to pay for the repairs, got nowhere with them. We regret dealing with The Paving company, a waste of money and time.
